When we think Nike gear, we automatically think sporting items, such as clothing and shoes. This is obviously correct, but we always stand away from the history of how everything began, and where it has now led us to. The history of the Nike gear company began back in 1962, when the two partners brought in cheap sportswear. The process started by importing shoes and clothing from third world countries, and introducing the Nike brand on them. Today, nearly 48 years later it is the largest company worldwide producing sports gear. The trend and fashion sense in sporting wear has been fluctuating over the past ten years. Nike unleashed a women section, and it caught the attention of many young women. It later became a fashion sense around the world.
The Nike shoe line has only been growing since its commencement in 1962. Today, Nike produces athletic wear for every one of all ages and sizes. It is the one brand that is known by every athlete. One of more popular athletic shoes that Nike produces is known as Nike Dunks. Nike Dunks are a pair of very sporty shoes, mainly used in the Basketball sport. When manufacturing these items, there is a lot of testing, research and high tech analysis done on these shoes. Nike research has helped create other popular brands such as Nike Air, Nike Plus, Nike Max and many more. Nike has not just stopped with athletic wear, but it also expanded its production line into causal wear, cleats, spikes and even clothing. Nike sneakers provide the best comfort, maximum comfort and an extended life. It renowned worldwide for its high performance shows as well, which is endorsed by several top athletes. The Nike Dunks are built to handle intense surfaces, and it provides maximum comfort when actively moving around.
The casual wear line has perfected great designs in their men’s and women’s 
collections over the years. These shoes are built to handle the toughest weather conditions, and are produced with the best quality material. Nike sandals give a great look in the summer. These sandals are sleek in design and are very lightweight for easy moving around. Some of the sandals are produced with an outer rubber surface to avoid slipping. Nike has recently focused on the skateboarding industry, and released its line of Nike Dunks SB, which is a great selection for skateboarders and athletes. As a personal opinion, we believe that Nike is still in fashion, and with more expansion to follow, it will only grow. The main growth of Nike occurred after it released its women’s division, as there are tons of female athletes.
