Jessica White was born in Buffalo, New York, to an African American family. She was born on June 22, 1984, with black hair and brown eyes. Her whole career began at the young age of sixteen, when she was enrolled by Susan Makai. There-on, she moved from Buffalo to New York City. When she was scouted in, she had the opportunity to attend the Personal Best Modeling School. She attended the school at the age of sixteen as well. As soon as she started her acting school, she was asked by several top agencies to enroll in their campaigns. Her first contract was signed with IMG Agencies, in Paris. After landing her big career in Paris, she then signed contracts with major companies such as Chloe, Paris, Cover Girl and Gap. Fashion shows wanted Jessica White to be hitting the stage with their designer wear, and she has showcased for top people like Ralph Loren, Tommy Hilfiger and Oscar de la Renta
New York City was proud to have Jessica White stand out at fashion shows held on a weekly basis. New York companies enrolled her showcases on their magazines and she made a ton of money. Tyra Banks, one of the top models in the industry crowned Jessica White as the model of the generation. Several teen magazines show her walk down the isle as well. One of the top magazines for men, Sports Illustrated, enrolled Jessica in a swimsuit issue of their magazine, and this was at the young age of eighteen. Not only has she done the swimsuit issue, but also five other ones. Compared to any other African American model, she is the only one who has achieved this much. She currently works with an agency known as Elite Model Management Agency. On October 14th of 2009, she had a role on the show America’s Next Top Model. White has starred in several films, one of them being Big Momma’s House 2, and this was in 2006. The television based reality show, The Young and the Restless also features Jessica White in 2008. Music videos with famous singers such as JayZ and John Legend were also produced!
